St. Clair Home
612 West Couts Street
This wonderful reproduction Salt Box style home was built in 1985 but with a most unordinary methodology. Many of the elements used in the construction of this home are from early New England houses that had been purchased and dismantled. The original owners Jean and Don St. Clair traveled to and fro finding these elements and bringing them to their final destination so many miles away. A few of these elements consist of the front door with iron hinges, painted hearth tiles for the fireplace, wide board pine floors and paneled walls.
